Getting a Flash animation in 16:9 on a DVD requires my Opinion, a sort of Voodo Spell. All I know, Dvd Authoring Programs have not responded to the problem. It is no preference in which The format is the animation ausgiebt. 16:9 720x405, 1024x720 or 4:3. all useless. Dvd Studio Pro supports true 16:9 but it seems make first a synonymous one 720x405 to 720x576 Pal. This leads to that there is a vertical distortion of the image on a 16:9 TV. The problem with the rectangular display on TV I know. Neither with TMPEnc, QuicktimePro, Dvd Patcher or IfoEdit me a solution succeeded.
If jeman knows how to animate a true 16:9 on a on a TV and it gets announced here, you should build a monument to the person and be grateful to her - for all eternity!

Hello, synonymous if the question's been a while, so perhaps it will help one or the other yet.
I had a similar problem, I create a 16x9 flash animation and it should be transferred as a widescreen DVD.
My solution: - Create a Flash Movie as 1024x576 - Then insert all the frames in a new flash icon - The stage of the flash movies and then switch to 720x576 - Add the new symbol as an instance on the main timeline and This scale horizontally to 720 pixels and accordingly many frames to insert - Then export as a SWF and with a SWF to Video Converter and a 16x9 aspect ratio conversion as MPEG. - The MPEG properly in Windows Media Player or WinDVD as Widescreen shown - Then MPEG with a DVD authoring tool transferred to DVD
