Infoseite // Purchase DVD without sound in MS Media Player

Hi,
exceptionally gehts me not about my selbstgefilmten / burned DVDs (which can be played properly) but a purchased in 2005. The runs in the media player only without sound (with the CyberLink "PowerDVD" player on the same calculator go against it!?). Presumably, the media player lacks a suitable audio codec. Has anyone an idea what this could be and as it gets? Thank you.
