I have very favorable a Sony DVD92 auction.
Now I use the Platinum 8cm DVD.
When you start the camcorder I always get the message:
SONY-DVD is recommended.
This is very disturbing, because the message a few seconds stops.
Can you turn off the message?

how big is the difference between SP and HQ Mode what the
Quality of the videos are?

This was however my first attempt.
The film will not be re-encoded! Only the transitions to be recalculated.
Or simply connect the DVD and the DVD player s.in.
I think the quality of the images is worse than the DV camcorder in raw. Since last one but anyway the results s.TV on DVD player looks at this advantage is the DV synonymous not really there.
In any case, it saved a lot of time ;-)
