If you have the possibility to work s.einem Mac, Final Cut Pro, you can I lay this to heart.
In addition, iStopMotion is a nice program for OS X. Supposedly it is to be synonymous with certain Digicam possible to trigger them of the program.

One can in Final Cut Pro sequences to create 4000x4000Pixel. Codec is freely chosen, just like the frame rate and what I know.

time is another consideration:
Appro Stills can import up to 4000x4000 pixels and processing - synonymous as a single sequence. This has nothing to do with HDV. The question is rather how and when what you want to spend your work. Is it really wise to use such a resource-hungry image size? Must be because all the images enhanced? So that you force the most powerful calculator in the knees ;-)
I think that you should keep in that direction once intellectual contemplation. It would not completely make sense to import all images into a gigantic Resolutionzu if ultimately the whole should be viewed on a television via DVD.
You Sayest times closer to your interesting project?

You have 4k or 6k large photos that already have a few MB per picture. This means that you 50-100 MB / s have, in 4k resolution. It can process an Avid Film Composer grad mal ...

I'd do this using rotoscoping, though now I do not know what kind of animations (Knetfiguren, Cut-out or Legotrick) means.
Then it simply means Lipsync machining. So make the first soundtrack, then add yourself. After this template is its animation created.
A small video mixer with faders can be a help, that you, the individual very well s.The Rotoscope can customize a template. That said iStopMotion has to a "Onionskin" mode, with which one can see shining through the previous picture. There are certainly synonymous iStopMotion a PC counterpart. I mean synonymous times a Stop Motion program has seen at SourceForge.
