Frage von alpha:Hello,
I'm looking for a video card with component input, so I have a game console or receiver can connect with the PC. Something like this:
http://www.pixelmagicsystems.com/products/pdi/pdi_deluxe.htm But I had s.liebsten an external box (; Firewire or USB). The PDI DELUXE there are synonymous, I do not believe in Germany. If it is a PCI card, then it should also not have FireWire, at the moment because I have a Firewire card in the PC and only had 2 PCI slots, both of which are already occupied.

Would you like to use the setup to be able to play for?
If so, then this could fail because many of these cards have high latencies in the Picture Transfer. That means you will not be able to play for real, because the images are only 2 seconds behind.
If your monitor has no component input (; have some of the better devices such as the Dell), then you should rather take a VGA converter box.
If you only want to record, then it will be difficult with Component (inputs, but your example) with affordable consumer goods. Rather, S-video in question would come - so the market is served better. Ifs but then Component to be, then buy the thing to send to the Amis and leave it to you.

Hello,
I use the card for the capture of a DVB-T receiver and possibly synonymous of a games console. Perhaps, at times synonymous watch TV from the DVB-T receifer s.PC if I just sit s.Schreibtisch. With the component inputs are there, in fact, not much in the affordable range. (and I would like to spend no more than about 200). This device I have found:
http://www.adstech.com/de/products/API-555/productintro.asp I do not know whether what is good.
With S-video input, I could take your example sowas:
http://desktop.grassvalley.com/products/ADVC55/index.php The moment I have a Hauppauge WinTV USB2 connected. The synonymous has an S-video input. If I now take as the ADVC-55, since then a significant quality improvement noticeable or can I stay the same as with my WinTV?
