I have a digicam (Canon A75), which can, like so many small video clips aufzeichenn synonymous. The image format is then MJPG (that's actually normal MPG?), The sound is PCM. I wanted to change the file size by compression. Under Virtual Dub XVID as video codec, I chose what works synonymous. But if I want to compress the sound, I get at MP3 bit rates appear to no choice - this only happens when I am "all bit rates show" set. But no preference, then I click it - when I want to save, the error message that this compression is not possible. Why is that? I wanted to try it with VirtualDub Mod, but there's not even an audio menu. Is this normal?

Which MP3 encoder you have on your calculator? The standard, limited, or of Windows already has a large, installed from?

Yes, that's normal. To here to convert the sound into MP3, you choose Streams> Stream list, left standing in the window that opens your audio streams, selecting the appropriate export as Wave and external to Mp3 convert eg with BeLight (http://corecodec.org/ frs /? group_id = 45 & release_id = 245 # R245) or RazorLame (http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php). MP3 File it with "add Merge" in the said window, disable the original audio stream by double click, done.
