Infoseite // Format Wirrwar: TFF / BFF / Progressive for DV / HDV / AVCHD / Canopus HQ

Frage von lofi:

SonyHC3/5/7/9 in HDV: Top Field First or Bottom Field First?
SonyHC3/5/7/9 during playout of DV: TFF or BFF?
SonyXR520 AVCHD 1080i: TFF or BFF?
Of converting AVCHD to Canopus HQ using AVCHD2HQ:
For me there is apparently only 1080p out. The program
seems to be the subject of interlaced not to shear large, as in the configuration dialog to no information can be made and
probably are basically only 1080p or I do something wrong, or
I have a problem understanding?

As the workflow looks at a project that all of the above format
process must? For example, with Premiere. Do I have to lend a hand because
or can Premiere material with different field order
processed without quality loss?

Antwort von WoWu:

HDV and AVC always put before the upper half image-in the Filed folder.
DV submit to 720x576 (5:4), the lower field.
In 16:9 (widescreen), it is the upper half frame.
In principle, the Programs provide the field order after the formats. If you, however, the HD-DV format, with mixing in a timeline like you'll have a field-order to change this.
(check at least once, whether the program has done this correctly.)

How do you think? 16:9 or 4:3 has no impact on the field sequence.

Quote: 16:9 or 4:3 has no impact on the field sequence.
This is only for 525 line systems.
PAL is 625 lines but a system.
In 525-WS is lower, at 625 line systems, WS-upper.
The reason is that geblanked in 526 systems, the Z-line 20 is in 625 line systems, but the line of 263rd
But 263, in the Field "lower", starts in row 1, in the "upper" field.
(ITU line counting)

Antwort von Jott:

And? The row count is always equal, no preference whether 4:3 or 16:9. Practical Refutation: DV, Digibeta, DVCPro, no preference was, with 4:3 and 16:9 switchable camera in turn, see the results. In each case the same field sequence. It is indeed compressed horizontally only, nothing else. So please.

Antwort von WoWu:

Hello
.. we are talking of PAL widescreen ... since when is Digibeta PAL?
Since when is Dv PAL?
Since when is DVCPro PAL?
Since when does a half lines of the above format?

Besides the fact that the DigiBeta already has an inverted field order (upper) and unlike (Sp / SX), IMX, HDCAM, DV, and all derivatives, such as DVCPro, represents.
They are perhaps my "practical" observations.
But it's all nachlesbar example in BT.470 or R62-1998
And the fact that you have not noticed so far is probably because you have two signals not previously worked together in a timeline and it otherwise, when you play a single contribution is completely negligible, which is on the Field dominance.
Practitioners ... just to say: I have not noticed that when something changes. Ergo, it is not so.

Incomprehensible.
