Can anyone here me a tip for the settings if I give my HDV tape via firewire recording in FCP7?
For me, it never really runs smoothly! 've 50i and 25f s.tape recordings, mixed! The end product should be 720p25!!

When capture was / there are no problems?
Is it just a question that you in your timeline, both f and i have located material, Final Cut Pro render beam NEN spending, and therefore everything is lame?

I have the 50i material because of the Slow Motions and because of the fluid !!!!!

I would tape in two runs each with the appropriate preset capture. Then you have your clips and i f correctly transferred to the Mac.
Then I was with the files go into the media manager and then in a walk per Res 422 or LT, or directly to your target codec.
Depending on what you plan on still with the material, so Farbkoreekturen, many filters or motion compositing, I would take the per Res ... you do you can only cut synonymous directly target your codec.
Then I would create a sequence reinziehen the clips from the browser and the sequence is automatically adjusted s.die clips.
When you export your finished movie s.end out on Compressor or directly from Final Cut Pro, then you take you your target format from the presets and finished the film.
