Infoseite // Flicker filter in Final Cut Pro

Frage von dziga:

Hi,

I am a bit uncertain. I have a DVD with build material, which makes it only on tape there. The material is 4:3 letterbox, also with black bars, a simple mask. On the bottom bar of the mask are subtitles.

So on the calculator, the DVD, the compremierte Mpeg, great. But: In the reference monitor flicker the black bars quite nasty. Is probably because the subtitles are out.

In such cases, actually helps the flicker filter. But now I have scruples, a 70 minutes film entirely with his durchrendern to flicker filter. Are entitled? Or has the filter does not affect motion, sharpness, etc.? someone knows?

Antwort von Axel:

I would not risk it. If, then mask the real picture on a video track from above, and apply the flicker filter is only on the font (V2) to. I hope you do not have to rewrite everything ;-)
