About DV - In the DVD recorder, you can only a DV-compliant signal time. Everything else "understands" the DVD recorder is not. To display the image signal of the DVD recorder in the laptop to see, you need an analog-digital converter. For the money you get a new DVD drive for the laptop and a stack of DVDs to do so. The computer provides a much higher Resolutionals a video signal, while the competing s.Fernsehstandards must. Connect your laptop times using VGA or DVI cable with the projector, then the quality is much better.
