Hello,

I have my Panasonic HDC-HS9 purchased in the AVCHD format recording.

But I do not under Linux mts files (of the AVCHD produced) can edit, I would prefer them in mpeg format.
The conversion of mts in -> mpeg2 would I (and my calculator) gladly avoid.
Therefore, it would be convenient if my camcorder directly in mpeg2-format recording.

Is that possible - did nothing in the instructions found?

HD signals to MPEG-2 to a hard drive in the consumer market dominated currently only JVC. Can Sony really in any AVCHD model 720x576 PAL MPEG 2 movies, but no MPEG 2 HD movies. In the camera so no.
