Hello,
I would like to connect my laptop as a DVD player s.ein TV. Unfortunately, my laptop has no integrated TV-out output. The television has a SCART connector.
What can I do now to upgrade my laptop?
- PCMCIA / PC Card?
- What is the connection I can use (S-video output)?
- What products can I recommend?

Hello,
for your application I found a separate DVD player makes sense. Thus, a device now have a few euros and you do not have to bother you with any Soft-/Hardware-Eigenheiten.
The connection is made using vollbeschaltetem scart scart cable, so that changes the television to the AV channel, when the DVD player is turned on. In addition, you have that synonymous remotely control it. ;-)

I will use my laptop since I'm pretty much on the road and would look like in the hotel s.Television DVDs.
Therefore, I would appreciate an indication as to "upgrade" my laptop.

I have the same problem.
The only solution I've found so far, would be a "scan converter", such as mentioned here: http://www.geizhals.at/eu/a79440.html
Unfortunately, the device is quite expensive and currently not synonymous available.
My laptop had Cardbus, USB, Monitor-Out, Firewire.
Does anyone know of an affordable, simple solution to the Picture on the Television to get?
