The software would actually not so bad, but native AVCHD footage to edit is not error-free possible. Here it comes again and again to jump in front and / or rendered transitions, so that with the current version only MPEG2 material correctly can edit. Again it comes to errors that can only by disabling the proxy function fix it. Without the much-needed bug fixes, the software is not really usable. An exclusive reason is certainly the smart proxy feature.
An update would be synonymous from a different point of view desirable: DivX 6.8 works only with a trick or more than 20 folders for Transitions and Effects in the archive of plugins for third-party providers do not work.
