Hello s.alle,
I have the following problem. I would like for a movie project Doc longer interviews (both 1h / MiniDV) to an internal Samsung HD501LJ with 500GB capture. After about 2min the error message "rendered images. I digitize the material on to a different internal 150GB Samsung disk it works fine. To create a defect in the hard drive out, I have the same Samsung 500s again worried. Result: re-rendered images ...
Both panels are new and not partitioned. If the material only once on the 500 does however cut smoothly.
Would be glad if someone can help me.
Facilities:
FC Studio (Final Cut Pro 5.1.2)
MacPro 2x2GHz
2Gb Ram
MacOSX 10.4.7
Bay 1: 150GB system disk (2 partitions)
Bay 2: 150GB Samsung HD
Bay 3: 500GB the said plate
Bay 4: 500GB 2nd Test plate
all disks in the format: mac OS extendet
Camera: Canon XHA1

Firstly: partitoniere times as a test of your new plates in two equal parts.
secondly, current OS X 10.4.9
thirdly: Final Cut Pro recognizes your camera, right?
fourthly test times in DV quality to restore (the new project, new settings)

I now have the 500s with the 150er (previously Bay2) exchanged. And until now it has been digitized 25min with no errors on the 500s. If there are s.Harddisks slot? Bay 3 and 4 broken? Or the wrong attitude?

So I have Edlich MacPro / Final Cut Pro systems configured and have until now only used Maxtor disks. Until now I have the disks with no problems. Samsung are synonymous not just the best choice, it is probably synonymous give a reason why Apple than standard plates until now Maxtor Segeate or installed. It may well be possible that the MacPro is not with the S-ATA controller of the Samsung panels for them.
Are the plates to SATA II HDD and it is maybe the only really jumpers?
Otherwise, I wish you much fun with the Apple Hotline, we had as far as I remember of the first four MacPros which we have received three pieces sent back again. Errors were: loud fan, defective graphics card and a problem with the RAM.
At the moment we have this problem on our crate somehow mistaken Compressor is slow for a minute SD MPEG2 requires around three minutes and without any filter and so.
Presumption of us, the MacPro has problem with the new Blackmagic card.

So, the 500 works on Bay2 without problems. When 150er (now 3) that were previously on 2 was no problem, there are now rendered as images in the 500s.
Sounds So everything after a defect s.Calculator, does not it?

The disk utility shows no error checking on. Also in the access I have nothing else on.
