I have here a calculator with the following specifications:
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz @ 6420
2GB RAM
350 GB hard drive (SATA, 7200 bpm)
Is there a chance that for a Project in XDCAM EX - format in full resolution (35.2 Mbit / s) to cut (1080/25p are located), or recommends its use of proxies, etc?
What would be the best approach?
If the memory card in the EX1 proprietary or can somehow bring PC s.den directly, except through the Firewire output of the Camera?

prinzipiel extends the performance of the EX1 material cutting. Besser wär course more memory and at least 2 hard disks.
The EX1 delivers, however, "FireWire" only HDV-compliant material, non-FullHD 1920x1080. If your PC into a Express Card slot, you can have the SxS cards directly insert and extract.
If your NLE the EX1 files directly cuptured may be synonymous a ProxieSchnitt fold. Hqbe it but never tried. I read the material is always completely on HDD. Is simply the better workflow.

The reading of data via the USB port does not last much longer than directly of the SxS card. How long did you have CAM? ... And never tried your material into your NLE to edit?
The manual is quite extensive. So you should you really take time and order it to scroll. This is for a CAM such as the EX1 highly recommended. The Ex1 wants berherscht be! Because synonymous filming in the factory setting is a lot s.Qualität away! The magic word called "PRESET's" set.

This is just a carrier of the MPEG2 @ HL 1920x1080i / p (HQ) image files and the 16 KHz PCM bit/48 next Tonfiles encapsulates the metadata. Similarly MXF is a wrapper of the Sound and Picture but contains no metadata carries.
