Frage von BenniB:
Hello!
when I render my video as a DVD-PAL I get right and left very narrow black bars. I want to play 16:9.
When I use the material with the proposed Blu-ray - Resolutionmit the "=" in front (1920 x 1080, 50i) render that do not appear black bars. This is the pixel aspect ratio "square-pixel displays.
 The original material I've recorded with a Canon 100 Hf in the mode of 1920 x 1080, 50i 16:9 - format.
Can I retouch the black bars just by cropping the scenes or is there more configuration options for rendering?
 Thanks for your answers!

 Antwort von Marco:

The fact that there appear narrow, black borders, is normal and correct, because the 16:9 format of HD video is not exactly a 16:9 SD video equivalent.
There are (at least) two ways to eliminate the edges.
Either you do it by manual cropping with the Pan / Crop tool (and simultaneously trimming).
Or do you choose in the Render dialog, select
"video frame size of the output on" Custom.
