Infoseite // Windows Movie Maker: How to video - and audio quality improved?

Frage von Pit-PB:

Hello,

The video material is available as WMV-data (1024x768, 30 fps)
The audio materials are three snippets WAV (2 x atmosphere, 1 x composition in its own 44kHz, 16 bit, uncompressed).

Video: In the case of publication in the "best mode" of the Movie Maker expects everything to DVD-quality down to 720x576 so.

Audio: Again, will be compressed with MP3 at 128 kbit lousy.

How can I get the video - and audio quality improved?

Thanks for any hint,

By any other software you use. To my knowledge, the Movie Maker nothing more than standard PAL resolution goes further.

Hmm, the problem is likely that only the latest Movie Maker format higher than SD (= 720 * 576) support HD can not be any simple editing program ...
If it's on "Save Movie File", Work, more options and then the manual choice of format nix equivalent, will not go so far (Win XP) there was DV-AVI, the highest quality (sound is uncompressed, but 48 kHz).
That being said: The. Wmv 30fps with you irritate me of something strange format (None of this is Cam, is not it? Animation program ?)...

Man since your fix ... Thanks for the help!

The video data are from Photo Story 3 with 30 fps which then Movie Maker will be 25 fps. Effects from simple postcards delicious "pan" in a church gebastelt (unfortunately still in 4:3).

The Windows Movie Maker 2.6 can be used in recruiting
"DVD-quality (PAL) (3.0 Mbps)"
however, only generate 25 fps with a really bad sound quality.
Movie Maker 2.1 on XP did not have 3.0 Mbps gestemmt get.

Alternatives?
Could the resulting WMV yes

1) convert to Flash and the original sound mix drauf
How? Demuxer of Flash?

or

2) convert to AVI and then demux (which s.einfachsten?)

or

3) a completely different use editing software (freeware, open source preferred)

Best goal remains sound.

Even more ideas?

So long as it is next to be edited, it should be s.besten avi (Flash is a distribution format for the cut unsuitable), but what codec? The most important question is: What should s.Ende because of it are? How / Where is the movie playing? From the calculator look like? Or of another medium? So can only say what Resolutionund fps sense ... (the sound will likely be the easiest)

Two answers:

1) Flash file for Internet (homepage, YouTube)
2) high-definition video for DVD (as part of a manual)

Perhaps not unlike when I use the extension of the Flash player of youtube correctly, right?

Again THANK YOU,

So, you somehow You need a common format for deciding either SD resolution or a HD resolutions - with their own formats (1024 x ... etc.) you will not get far or Programs are problems ...

"High-resolution video on DVD"? On DVD, there's only one resolution - unless you mean DVD-Rom, but then it can only computers with the appropriate codec to play ...

Exactly, now synonymous youtube supports higher resolutions (so far so was lower than SD), but since I have virtually no experience,'ve only read ...

OK - so again after the series:

With Photo Story have reached WMV 1024x768, 30 fps
Movie Maker 2.6 converts to 720 x 576, 25 fps down

1) Does this then the 768 x 576 DVD-Pal?

2) Can I use Movie Maker with no 1024x768 original ummüntzen so that I at least
1024x576 square deinterlaced
hinbekommen for 16:9? Enough "material" would be available?

3.) and HDV?
960x540px - that runs at 1.5 Mbit supposedly smooth
1920x1080 square deinterlaced can not go, because too few pixels in the source material are available. Or because I understand what is not correct?

Thanks, Pit

ohoh .. Of 30fps down to 25fps reckon still synonymous with Consumer Software Convert standard without actually an impossibility.
Din final product should Jerkiness because he somewhere 5 frames "omit" ...
If you have the whole thing as a PAL DVD rausgeben want, I recommend that you urgently Photostory a 25fps movie to render.

1: it is. At least as far as concerns the Resolutionund fps.

2: Muah ... with the question have you forsaken me s.einem sensitive nerves taken: I do not know.
(15 minutes)
After some google I rausgefunden that you prx (windws media enoder) Profiles for Windows Movie Maker under c: \ proram files \ movie maker \ shared \ profiles themselves can create.
(German for Windows, it is programs rather than program files, I think)
If you have Windows media sdk to change the prx profile yet, you are you lad of microsoft and modify and store a prx with your desired settings under the Shared folder, then you've made in the export selection in the first window in the custom selection of drin . Thus you can easily wmv of each format in each convert wmv format that supports Windows media encoder and it is, so to speak, everything is technically feasible.

3: Whether ne 920er resolution at 1.5 Mbit is good, I do not know. For your graphics gehts perhaps, but a football game will probably unansehlich. Just try it out.
what "1920x1080 square deinterlaced does not" see answer relates 2nd
It is not the question of what the program that you can use, but what can the codecs. Something like what you here at Point 3 meinst is no problem, just takes longer and the quality is also a question of the codecs. The program uses only the settings of the codec and in the case of wmv with MovieMaker can by described prx profiles EVERYTHING what you can with the Microsoft Windows Media Encoder can make.

The problem is still a program that your video to MPEG2 for DVD converts. zb Nero Premium can do using Nero Vision. Would in any case first by prx profile 25fps PAL 720/576 wmv before I create it to encode to mpeg2 over.

If you PRXen and with the windows media sdk schaffst not, tell about it ;-)

Edit: Audio is obviously no longer a problem synonymous with the prx profile :-)

I would again point out that it leads to problems, 30fps material down to convert to 25fps. The material should Jerkiness, look at the times closely.
