Frage von dr.dreee:hi ...
I want to have because sometimes ask one, if one device (PC) with an s-video output with another device, the cinch has combined inputs (with an s-video to cinch cable or something) works here synonymous, the sound transfer, because I have read that with s-video no sound is transmitted.

Antwort von Eastside:
No does not work.
For Y / C, therefore S / Video, only the chroma and luminance signal is transmitted separately. All video only.
Antwort von dr.dreee:
then why are there cables that s.einen end s-video and have s.anderen cinch?
Antwort von thos-berlin:
Because the Connector "RCA" just synonymous can use the Picture (CVBS signal).
Cables are actually quite simple: it can come out s.end only what goes in the other Page.
If, on the one enters only Picture Page (S-Video is only Picture!), Then on the other Page synonymous only just come out Picture.
How do you imagine that with the cable in front of your question?
1) What will happen in the cable with the Picture?
2) Where will the sound come from?
Antwort von dr.dreee:
so yes it is yes what is confusing me, but there are cables that have a Page on a s-video connection and on the other 2 or 3 cinch Connections, for what then? Two transfer times video? or how it is to be understood?
Antwort von thos-berlin:
I think I know what you mean cable.
There are small TFT-Monitore/Television for use in the car, these have often a multi-pole connector (mE look like a PS / 2, keyboard or mouse connector), with a handle to be removed can. There are appropriate adapter to make the connection to 'normal' devices. These cables transmit video and sound, in fact, and sometimes even the power supply and then have multiple RCA connectors.
This is not standardized and only fit (!!!!) to a Mini-Television. We simply used only for cost reasons, "common" type of connector, which is synonymous not wrong, if you want to craft something yourself.
Antwort von dr.dreee:
no, I do not mean ...
i mean something as:

Antwort von thos-berlin:
This is a cable and has on both sides (!) An S-Video and two RCA-Male. S-Video goes through the S-Video Male and sound via RCA.
