I hope that someone of you has a tip, because I do not know next.
I have now tried for the first time, cut selbstaufgenomme DVDs and create the menu. With Ulead VideoStudio 8.0 this is easy. Now to my problem:
After I selected from DVD / DVD-VR is a scene and have the program opens it, so I can look at the cutout in the upper window. The Picture is synonymous perfect, but I have no sound. The soundtrack is available, but there is nothing to hear. At first I thought that he would not only listen to s.PC and after a successful burn but when s.DVD player should be. Not a chance the sound does not exist. I've checked everything in the blender, put all ticks are. I can easily watch DVDs on the PC, I can easily load and edit these VCDs or SVCDs - with sound. Only DVDs (whether directly or not from the drive of the hard drive).
Has anyone an idea?

Hello Michael,
DVD / video record the sound usually in Dolby Digital. If your PC does not have codec for Dolby Digital (ac3), then he can not handle the sound / output.

So for me the same problem occurs. Only I can play DVDs otherwise quite normal, my selbstaufgezeichneten synonymous. So it should not be s.mangelnden codec.

Testing a VOB file of the DVD first time with Gspot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) and note there is the format in which the sound or even whether sound is available. If yes, please let the file with MS (bottom with 1 +2) render times and note whether they can be played with sound. Then check its left with 1,2,3 (for video and audio), if other existing Abspielmögkichkeiten shown better results.
If No: mpeg2 with sound, now install the FFdshowfilter (http://www.codecs.com/FFDShow_download.htm) and they configure http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=66022&package_id to play this codec or AC3 audio problems with the AC3 filter ( = 63808)
